Halloween is almost here, and the last-minute countdown for costumes and holiday-themed goodies is at a fever pitch. But just in case you're one of those super-prepared 'ween fiends and have some extra time on your hands, here's a cute food craft for the 31st.

It's a pretty simple technique to make your Halloween sweets bleed, and it just begs for expansion and spin-offs. Maybe a cake that bleeds when you cut into it? Or cupcake pools of blood? Or faux vamp teeth stuck in the cupcake with the trails of blood? Or ... basically any blood-themed scenario that you can imagine.

Here's a brand of wine that sounds perfect for adding a little extra spirit to your Halloween celebrations. Vampire Wines, produced by Vampire Vineyards, have the ideal look for a spooky gathering with not only an appropriate name, but a classy looking label, as well. The grapes are produced at the Recas Vineyard in Transvylvania (what did you expect - Napa?), which is rumored to be a legendary grape-producing region.
