"tee-shirts" news and stories

Most of the people who know me in real life are quite aware of the fact that I have a very boring wardrobe. Having been a grad student for the last year and a half, I've settled into a comfy pattern of jeans, a black top and Dansko clogs. Just about every day. It stuns people when I whip out a little color or accessorize this uniform with a necklace or scarf.

However, I do believe it's time to start sprucing things up and I'm leaning in the direction of a few of these fun food-themed tee-shirts that the folks over at Yumsugar compiled into a slideshow. They've got shirts from Threadless, Johnny Cupcakes and more (and they've even tracked down a few that are on sale!).

A little email from some chap called Brad alerted me to this fun looking t-shirt site. Wine Stud sells t-shirts with.. well... a wine type theme. Their website describes them as "a company focused on producing original, different designs relating to wine and its followers. We support all those in the community following their vision and dreams in creating the best possible juice. We are following our vision and hope you appreciate our effort."

Prices are $17.99 for one of eight different designs. Brad maintains a blog too - which so far has just the one 'we have launched' post. Not hugly inspired by the designs displayed so far (beauty in the eye an' all that) but I am sure more designs will be appearing over time.
