I'll be back with the Slashfood Ate (8): Beer Edition later, but as soon as I saw this gizmo, I just had to drop everything to put you guys in the know...

Perpetual Kid is offering a USB Mini Fridge -- a single-serving can refrigerator that gets 100% of its power from your computer. Plug this fridge into any USB port and you'll be getting enough juice to keep your juice (or soda or -- my preference -- beer) at a respectably cool 45 degrees. How cool is that?!

Um, well, it's around 7 degrees Celsius... assuming your beverage is in a can or can-size cup, of course.

Though this product probably scores around a zero on the practicality scale, score it an 11 on the "must have gadget of all time if you don't want to see me crying on Christmas morning" scale!

I'm always glad to see new ways for people to integrate bacon into their daily routine. You might recall bacon band-aids, for instance. Here's a faux-leather wallet made to look like bacon. They sell for $8.99 at Perpetual Kid and, amazingly enough, their sales pitch doesn't include any "bring home the bacon" jokes. What could be better than pulling your American Express Gold card from wallet of streaky goodness? It just screams "responsible spender."

The set of 4 'bright and stylish' (actually I think they are more fun and naff) Drinkwear Swim Fins comes complete with an even more 'bright and stylish' gift bag for storage. Each coaster is approximately 4 1/2" long x 3 1/2" wide and are made of foam rubber. Cost is US$14.99. Shipping available across the States and Canada.
