"nutritional supplement" news and stories

Does Boost help men in more ways than one?

BoostHere's an advertisement I'm sure the company wasn't prepared for.

A man in New York is suing the makers of the nutritional drink Boost because the drink gave him a three day erection. He claims that the ordeal was unbearable and embarrassing and that he sustained "severe bodily injuries" and impotence. No word on how much money the man is seeking.

There's an old joke by a comedian, can't remember which one, that goes something like "Call a doctor? If I had a four hour erection I'm calling everyone I know!" But I don't doubt something like that would be painful (he underwent something called a "winter shunt," which sounds awful) and really scary. Though I wonder how they will prove Boost was the cause? (And isn't it odd the name of the company is Mead Johnson?)
