Bobby Flay Joins NBC for Cooking Show

Fox has foul mouthed Gordon Ramsey, and now NBC is going to have grilling great, Bobby Flay. The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that Flay has signed up to join yet another cooking competition series. (We're getting a tad nervous that some time in the near future there will be no one left to compete on these culinary cook-offs.) This one is called 'America's Next Great Restaurant,' which is being produced by the same company that brought us 'Top Chef.'

The contestants present their idea for a restaurant concept and compete against each other (we're pretty sure that will involve copious amounts of tears and backstabbing). Flay will be one of five restaurant leaders who will judge, advise and supposedly invest in the proposals.

Bobby Flay, a high school dropout, is probably one of the most successful and famous chefs in the country. He's the owner and executive chef of 10 restaurants and has hosted seven shows on the Food Network.
