Wow, talk about the ultimate holiday.

Of course, most people don't need a special holiday to celebrate their love of cheese pizza (if I could eat if for every single meal of my life...well, I wouldn't, that would be boring, but it's probably my favorite food). But this would be a good day to make a pie of your own. Hopefully today just happens to be your "cheat day" if you're on a diet.

Here's a bunch of cheese pizza recipes, from Jeff Varasano, MealsMatter, MyRecipes, RecipeZaar, Wolfgang Puck, Emeril, and Rachael Ray.

Of course, if you don't want to make your own and want to call Pizza Hut or Papa John's or maybe go the store and buy a frozen Mystic or Freschetta or even Ellio's, well, that's OK too! And don't forget the posts from our Pizza Day celebration.

After hearing from all our readers who love Big Night, Mystic Pizza, and Who Is Killing the Great Chefs of Europe?, it's time a little flavor from Hong Kong.

Equal parts Iron Chef and Enter the Dragon, The God of Cookery (the movie's real -- i.e. Cantonese -- title is Sik San) is about a top-dog chef who is revealed as nothing more than a sham by one of his rivals.

Taking a page right out of Rocky III, the God of Cookery -- played by famous Hong Kong actor Stephen Chow -- trains harder than ever and tries to make his comeback in a culinary battle royale.

Comedy, cooking, and kung fu -- what more do you need?

Food Movies We Love: Who is Killing the Great Chefs of Europe?

Forget about Big Night. Forget about Mystic Pizza. Forget, even, numerous barbecue documentaries.

Check out Who is Killing the Great Chefs of Europe? Here, dear readers, is the food movie to end all food movies (well, except that numerous food movies have been produced since 1978, when this movie was made. But whatever.).

Anyway, the title basically tells you what the plot is, but it's got one foot in farce and another squarely planted in the Agatha Christie backlist (think And Then There Were None meets Delicatessen by way of the Pink Panther series).

Need more? It's got Jaqueline Bisset. Admittedly, it's long past her Bullitt days, but she's still great. I'll take her in a food movie anyday. At least until the uber-graceful Julianne Moore makes a food movie.
