I have a weakness for whimsical and unique kitchen items. Over the years, this had led me to deck my kitchen out in goodies from thrift stores and flea markets, all in the pursuit of an original, useful and expressive space. The latest addition I made to my cozy turquoise kitchen are the hand-printed towels you see above.
Made by Philly-based artist Sara Selepouchin, these towels are fun and so much more lovely than my standard flour sack towels. These dish towels represent just a fraction of her offerings (you can find her as girls can tell on Etsy), she also prints a number of different diagrams on coasters, notebooks, napkins and tote bags. She's currently going through a wonderfully creative period, in which she's posting a new diagram (sadly, they aren't all kitchen related) to her shop every week.
If you're looking for a gift for the cook who has everything, definitely swing by girls can tell to check out all of Sara's fantastic designs.
