KFC Hawks 'Firey' Wings on Fire Hydrants

In an effort to draw attention to its new Firey Grilled Wings, KFC has given two Indiana cities $7,500 for new fire hydrants that will be emblazoned with the face of Colonel Sanders, ABC News reported.

Indianapolis will receive $5,000 to buy fire extinguishers and smoke detectors and Brazil, Ind., will get $2,500 to repair fire hydrants and purchase one new one in exchange for putting the KFC logo and "actual chicken buckets on at least three city fire hydrants, including one each near the courthouse, the post office and a VFW post," ABC reported.

And the fast-food chicken chain will be offering funds to other cash-strapped cities looking to make fire safety repairs and improvements.
