The news about rapper Snoop Dogg signing a deal with Platinum One Media to launch a new line of foot long hot dogs Snoop Doggs isn't droppin' like it's hot off the presses. It came out some time before the holidays in the Boston Herald. However, the fact that the Snoop Doggs will be released into Boston area markets this month - that's hot.

Snoop Dogg has partnered with Franco Petrucci and Jeff Earp for this new hip hop dog venture. Though I question the experience of the leader of Tha Dogg Pound Gang, Earp is the former owner of Joe & Nemo's a popular hot dog business in Massachusetts. I guess Snoop's not messing around.

I'll probably give them a try once they hit the California market. You know, I've gotta support the Westsiiiiiiide and Snoop's from LA (Long Beach, to be exact, but I'm not a fanatic or anything).
