Chocolate cheese slices

As if things like Velveeta and that spray cheese with a nozzle weren't already stretching the limits of what we call cheese, New Zealand-based dairy company Fonterra has recently released chocolate-flavored cheese slices in markets in Asia. Essentially, the Chesdale chocolate cheese slices are individually wrapped squares, not unlike a Kraft Single, but with "a mild chocolate flavour, matched to a light Cadbury flavour," according to a Fonterra marketing director quoted in a New Zealand newspaper. Sales of dairy have never been remarkably high in Asia, however Chesdale has captured 10 percent of the cheese market in Taiwan since it's release six months ago.
