If you're easily susceptible to complaint backlash fear, you might not want to read on.Down Under in Sydney, a family was at the Coogee Bay Hotel pub itching to watch some rugby. But the music was too loud for them to hear the televised game. Understandably, they complained. In response, the family received some free gelato for their aggravation. How sweet, right? Not quite. It tasted funny -- a familiar kind of funny. Rather than complain again, they got their free "gift" tested, and the results came back with a big stamp of "poo."
Now the Australian Food News reports that the NSW Food Authority's tests have come to the same conclusion, so now the sample will be tested to see if the fecal matter is from a human or animal. The hotel is refuting the allegations, but the test speaks for itself. Someone contaminated that supposedly thoughtful free gift.
Personally, I already have a bit of a complaint monitor -- always on to see if my complaint is worth the possible outcome. Now with fecal matter in the mix...
