Candy Cow Tales

Cow Tales are a candy made by Goetze. They are long, thin rolls of caramel filled with a vanilla cream. The caramel is chewy, but neither as sticky or sweet as you might expect caramel to be, while the cream is a bit pasty, rather like frosting, and dissolves instantly in your mouth. The combination of the two textures is really delicious, not to mention addictive.

Cow Tales, though they seem a bit old-fashioned, were actually first introduced in 1992. They're a little hard to find in stores these days, but are readily available online, as are two newer flavors: strawberry and chocolate.

You can check out some other reviews of Cow Tales at CandyBlog and Taquitos, where they did Original and Strawberry.
