The twist comes from the addition of hemp blossom syrup and an extract of hemp bloom otherwise known as cannabis. The extract is of miniscule proportions at just 0.0015%.
It is actually targeting the 'healthy, functional soft drink market' with the Austrian producers claiming various health benefits from the use of hemp - "Hemp is loaded with enzymes, vitamins and minerals. Its protein content, amino acids, omega oils, gamma linolenic acid and a perfect ratio of essential fatty acids make C-Ice a simply extaordinary little pick-me-up".
