Unlike
National Grilled Cheese Sandwich Month, I have not been able to find any "official" information about
May being National Burger Month from, say, the National Burger Board, but you know what? Who cares?!?! If it's just by word-of-mouth, and uber-burger blog A Hamburger Today is acknowledging it, then so are we! Besides, there's no reason not to celebrate burgers every day for a month (except perhaps a battle with the waistline).
So expect a few burger posts or more from us here, and to get us started, let us know how you like your favorite burger!

Yeah, so maybe it's a little early in the day for burger porn, but these are classy little
sliders as photographed by roboppy, who writes food blog The Girl Who Ate Everything. The burgers are a menu item at Bouchon Bakery in New York, and are made with tomato marmalade and topped with ricotta cheese.
A Hamburger Today reports that Bouchon will be adding a new slider made with Wagyu beef, oven-roasted roma tomatoes and Taleggio cheese.

You might recognize his name, Josh Ozersky, as one of our feature writers here at Slashfood who focuses on all things meaty. Or perhaps you know him by his superhero name, Mr. Cutlets. Or maybe you have no idea who the heck he is.
Well, that can change, because New York City food blog A Hamburger Today has done an in-depth interview with Josh, a second in their new series, Grilled. Josh talks all things burg-errific, reveals that he eats burgers four to five times a week, shares his burger favorites around the city, and who knew he was the new online food editor at New York magazine?

I, like so many other people, always assumed that In-N-Out burgers only came one way: well done. The vast majority of fast food burgers are served this way and, while I don't mind the odd crisp edge that appears on well-cooked burgers, many fast food fans lament the lack of juiciness in their meat. Lament no more, In-N-Out fans. According to a post on A Hamburger Today, you can get your burgers cooked medium-rare or rare at In-N-Out restaurants. Someone who identified himself as an In-N-Out associate told them that all you have to do is let the person taking your order know that you want it cooked to a certain doneness.
A fresh, delicious and extra juicy fast food burger? Quick - someone stop by In-N-Out for lunch and try this out. We want to know if it's true!
