Following my food porn picture for the St.
George's Day English Pudding blog event, I thought I would have a look at some of the other entries via Technorati. All I can say is wow. I'm English but some of the
puddings I have never come across before. Others offer some inventive takes on more recognisable puddings. There
are loads of links to explore but five I looked at randomly are -
Eating Leeds came up with a Cumbrian Rum Nicky which not only sounds interesting but appears to be very easy to make.
Cookbook 411 has a superb picture to accompany a Gingerbread and Butter Pudding.
Drool Britannia over at Hungry in Hogtown with a Sticky Toffee Pudding Ice cream
There is Bakewell Tart over at English Patis which just happens to be one of my favourite puddings; I have a thing for almonds!
Sweet Pleasure goes for a Tipsy Cake combining various trifle recipes to make a lovely looking dessert.
My entry incidentally was also a trifle, pictured.
