Cal it Revenge of The Nerds Redux. There's a new energy drink on the market for those that don't want wings, don't want want to party like a Rockstar and don't care for a toot of Cocaine. It's called Nerd Energy Drink. The folks behind the new beverage make all sorts of claims for their product on their web site. Not only is the new pick-me-up the "best tasting energy drink on the market," it also contains special ingredients to enhance mental focus and boost memory retention.
In addition to the usual cocktail of caffeine, B vitamins and amino acids Nerd contains DMAE, a precursor to the neurotransmitter acetylcholine. Nerd is the brainchild of Vinicio Montes a medical student who designed as alternative to other energy drinks that just made him jittery without giving him any mental clarity. I'm curious to know if anyone out there has tried this new mental tonic.
