Last minute holiday gift: set of 18 appetizer plates

appetizer
platesI just got done ordering a holiday gift for my brother and his wife who love to entertain. They are the center of their circle of friends and they throw fab parties. They are also environmentally conscious and don't like to use disposable plates if they can avoid it. I just got an email from Pottery Barn notifying me of gift ideas that can ship in time for Christmas and I took advantage of it. Normally I don't like this kind of junk email, but this time, I appreciated the reminder. Now my brother and his family have a "Caterer's Box" of 18, high-fired, porcelain plates winging their way to them, and I can cross off the last item on my shopping list.
