Cracker Close Up - Feast Your Eyes

close up of a cracker

Thanks Angela!

The Perfect Blueberry - Feast Your Eyes

a perfect blueberry
The blueberry is one of my very favorite fruits. Every summer I make a point of getting out to Mood's Farm Market in South Jersey in order to pick my fill (and get enough for several batches of jam). I've always recognized the beauty of a blueberry's form, but it never occurred to me to get in there with a macro lens and capture that loveliness in this particular way.

Thanks Crystal!

Feast Your Eyes: Matzo for Passover

a macro shot of a stack of matzo
Passover starts Saturday night, the holiday during which Jews give up all leavened products for a period of 7 or 8 days. Instead, we eat matzo. Stacks and stacks of matzo. However, until I saw this picture, I never really thought about how beautiful such a basic food item could be. Thanks Ohad*, for the lovely image!
