The Bloggers at Henley

Here we go everyone - the faces behind the names. This is a group shot of those UK bloggers who plonked themselves down by the Thames for last weeks Regatta. [More details here]. Who do we have then? On the left we have Nick husband to Jeanne (Cooksister), then the cool dude with the tan at the back is me (spittoon/spittonextra) (it's either a tan or a hot flush from too much Pimms), then Johanna (Passionate Cook). In the front in white is Xochitl (Xochitl Cooks) over her left shoulder is Shana (OwlFish not totally a food blogger but welcome none the less) . In blue at the back is Jenni (Pertelote) and the June (Bread-Water-Salt-Oil) and finally a non-blogger whose name I embarrassingly admit to having forgotten. Nice hat though.

Maison Brilliant comes to Harvey Nics

What's this? The Famous French artisan bakery - Maison Brillant will soon be supplying Harvey Nicols with a variety of Boulangerie, Patisserie, Viennoisere and Traiteur (thats bread and cake to non-French readers). The produce, prepared using traditional methods and ovens is freshly baked several times a day to ensure its freshness.

All well and good and interesting so far but the next line of the press release made me start - with a boutique and café in Henley-on-Thames and another in Gabriels Wharf on London's South Bank.... you what? Henley-on-Thames!

That's here... were I live... where on earth is this café... it is only a small town... running out the door to investigate...
