Grapes have become my latest post-workout snack because they are water-packed and also help to curb my hunger when I come out of the yoga studio with serious munchies.

But don't limit grapes to snack food -- you can also make surprising, gorgeous desserts with them.

Concord grapes have a short season, but their flavor is unique and honey-kissed. Search them out at a local farmer's market.

When I first came across this post on Grape Pie on Mac & Cheese, I was a little taken aback. Never in my life have I heard of using grapes as a fruit filling for pie -- have I been living a very sheltered existence? I have no reservations about throwing all forms of berries and stone fruit into baked goods, but grapes? However, she makes it sound awfully good and so it's been added to my list of must-try recipes. Taylor's recipe is after the jump.
