A new way to carry a hot lunch to the office

A new device that is a combination food carrier and food heater.
Ok, Ok, I know it's hard to bring a lunch to work. Believe me, I've tried to be good about it before. Once I realized how much I spent eating out everyday, I really did want to reign that in by brown bagging it. I count my lucky stars every day that I now work at a place that provides a family meal everyday.

For everyone who is not so fortunate, here's a new invention for you. It's the EnPieza Combo, a combination food carrier and heater. It carries the food in an insulated pocket, and once you plug it in it heats your food quickly. Just load it with leftovers and have a cheap, hot meal for lunch the next day.

I couldn't find out how much this thing is, and I'm not even sure it's for sale yet. But it would be a handy thing to have if it ever does get to the market.

The Carl's Jr. $6,000 combo meal

Fast food is known for being cheap, but there has been and effort on the part of the fast food companies in recent years to make the term "cheap" evoke the idea that the food is just inexpensive, not necessarily of poor quality. Whether or not this is true is a matter of personal preference, but the Carl's Jr. executives decided to hammer their point home with a new ad acampain that is trying to put their $6 Burger on a par with, say, foie gras and kobe beef. In the commercial, the owners of the NBA's Sacramento Kings and the Palms Casino Resort, Joe, Gavin, George Jr. and Phil Maloof (net worth = $ billion), chow down on Carl's Jr. $6 burgers and wash them down with a $5,994 bottle of Petrus '82 Pomerol wine.

The commercial first aired last week and the unusually luxe combo meal is actually on the room service menu at The Palms.
