"CleverCupcakes" news and stories

Despite the fact that there's a bit of a cupcake backlash going on there days, I still find them to be one of the most delightful treats around. My office has cupcake day once a month (in order to celebrate all the birthdays that transpired in the previous weeks) and it brings great joy to all who partake.

This particular cupcake looks delicious and, being sweetened with agave nectar, is far healthier than your standard baked good. If you live in Montreal, you could even get yourself one of these, as that's where Clever Cupcakes is located. For those of us who can't taste them, the picture will have to speak for them. And speak it does! Yum!

Some have said that cupcakes have started to wane from popular opinion and that the excitement over tiny cakes might be getting a little tired. To them, I say, "Bah!" Cake will always be in demand and single serve cakes will always be with us. In addition to all their delicious qualities, they often serve as vehicles for great edible art, like the image you see above. All hail the cartoon cupcakes!
