Lady Gaga Cake (Slashfood)
May 23rd 2010 3:34PM True Lady Gaga's image can definitely stray from the innocent but one can't ignore just how talented she is. This cake of her is perfect in the sense of creativity.

Tennessee Puts 1,500 Food Stamp Recipients to Work (Slashfood)
May 3rd 2010 3:00AM I think it's a great idea, sure it doesn't fix all our economic inequities but it shows a great way to use the cards dealt in a particular situation.

Swedish Punsch - LeNell It All (Slashfood)
Mar 14th 2010 6:02PM So if I am understanding this correctly; Punsch is actually a very intensly flavored simple syrup that can be used in beverages as well as cooking? It sounds delicious and would be great to have on hand, it reminds me of a non alcohol version of the Italian Limoncello.

Policeman Endorses Eating Doughnuts (Slashfood)
Mar 7th 2010 4:40PM I have to admit it is a really cool idea but out my way the number one hangout spot for all the cops is a little Italian pizzaria. The funny thing is we have two places to get doughnuts within a half a mile of this place but you never see a cop at either of these doughnut shops but you will always see no less than 4 or 5 cop cars at this pizzaria at any given time.

Modern Morphing Male Mascots (Slashfood)
Jan 6th 2010 11:58AM That just reminded me of my mother, she passed away last year...this post brought a smile to my face. When I was younger there was some show that we always watched and in the credits the name David Seltzer would always appear and my mother would always say; "oh look, it's Alka's brother". It gaves us all a laugh...I guess you had to be there!

Bacon Bacon Bacon Bacon Bacon (Slashfood)
Jan 4th 2010 5:18PM What is it about bacon that just makes one drool! There are even some vegetarians who have a hard time when it comes to bacon...it can be such a strong craving. No wonder it is making its way into so many different types of edibles.
