Jul 30th 2011 11:45AM That room could use a better neutral color than what's on the walls. Bleeeeech! Neutral doesn't have to mean BORING! That looks like builders beige to me and it's awful!

  • Hungary introduces "fat tax" on unhealthy foods (Gadling)

Jul 16th 2011 5:24PM OK, then explain to me if, according to you, it's not the government's job to tell us what to eat (or what NOT to eat), what about when it comes down to the government having to pay for health care (ie, hospitalization, medications etc) when the MORONS in this country eat CRAP day in and day out, ending up with hearth disease, hypertention, diabetes, high cholesterol, and are either on Medicare of Medicaid? Since the dim wits cannot, or chose not to, eat properly, LET the government make money on them! After all, it's YOUR money that they government is paying with.

  • Behind the Polish: Gel Nails Explained (Stylelist (Main))

Jun 18th 2011 11:32AM I get mine taken off after about 4 to 6 weeks and immediately get another one done. No problems. You don't have to let them "rest".

  • Behind the Polish: Gel Nails Explained (Stylelist (Main))

Jun 18th 2011 11:31AM I have used nothing but shellac for my french manicure since it became available at the salon I go to. It is the BEST THING EVER INVENTED! I can't believe this artice is claiming that it only lasts 2 weeks. Maybe because a french manicure is close to the natural color of your nail, but mine can last from 4 to 6 weeks! They NEVER chip! You walk out of the salon and your nails are IMMEDIATLEY dry, so no smudges or smears that have to be repaired. Plus, the more you wash your hands the more your nails shine. I used to go for a polish change every week or 2 and pay $10, plus a tip. Now, I spend $30 + tip about every 6 weeks. It all evens out in the end. I swear by the product. I also have the BEST manicurist EVER!

  • Source: Charlie Sheen 'Destroyed' by Ashton News (PopEater)

May 16th 2011 3:30PM To whoever the "friend" of Charlie's is.....If he hasn't hit rock bottom yet, and you're afraid that Ashton being cast for "2 1/2" will cause him to, you need to HOPE for that, because until anyone with a drug/drinking/mental health problem hits rock bottom, nothing will change their self-destructive behavior, especially when they believe that there are no consequences for their actions. Here's hoping, truly, that this is the wake up call that Charlie Sheen needs to straighten his life out. I'm happy that they decided to keep "2 1/2" on because the rest of the cast certainly did not need to be "punished" for Charlie's actions by losing their jobs. They truly make that show. I for one am looking forward to next season. Good luck Ashton and to all involved with that tremendous show. Sounds like things are looking up for you all.

  • Starbucks Jumps Burger King & Wendy's To Become No. 3 U.S. Restaurant Chain (Slashfood)

Apr 28th 2011 10:59AM WOW, you couldn't PAY me to eat at Starbuck's OR drink their overpriced, disgusting tasting coffee. Here's a clue America, eating in ANY of those places is one of the WORST things you can do for your health. Yuck! Fast food and prepared foods are TERRIBLE for you even if you don't have a condition like diabetes or hypertension or high cholesterol. If you don't have it and you eat in those places, you'll get one or more of them at some point down the line.
