  • Housing Market 2011: Highest Peaks, Lowest Valleys (AOL Real Estate)

Dec 24th 2011 10:18PM I would like to take this opportunity to say George Bush "sucked" the life and the money and the sanity out of this country and then rode off into the sunset leaving havoc and mayhem for the next president. Is it any wonder things have not been able to progress with the egotistical, power-hungry Republicans who have vowed to ruin the country in order to make the president a 1-term President.

  • Bristol Palin Reveals She Lost Virginity While Drunk (PopEater)

Jun 19th 2011 12:16AM Mama Grizzly should have taught her daughter how to use birth control since you can't trust a man, OR your own emotions much of the time. Secondly, Mama Grizzly didn't seem to spend enough time with her children to know what they were doing, as both her teenagers were busy getting into trouble. Also, it appears there wasn't much closeness between parents and children as they didn't seem inclined to confide in their parents and get advice. Thirdly, it's a know fact that "abstinence programs" don't work if that's what Mama Grizzly believes in.

  • It's a Boy for Josh and Anna Duggar (PopEater)

Jun 16th 2011 2:12PM The idea is that such large families don't pay taxes. In a subtle way, the producers of their show are promoting their religion. They are also promoting reproduction and all that goes with it. One would think Republicans are against abortion, because forcing people to have more babies creates more taxpayers. Several things wrong with that way of thinking is that there are virtually no jobs here in America and secondly, broods that large don't pay taxes. And it's obvious Republicans don't promote pro-life due to "Christianity" because they don't care about "life" once babies are born. None of their policies are to "sustain" and "maintain" life, environment, health, jobs, etc. I have no clue, but I'll bet the Duggars don't have regular jobs ... just religious ones, paid for by the same worshipers of their religious following.

  • It's a Boy for Josh and Anna Duggar (PopEater)

Jun 16th 2011 1:56PM I'm sure the young Mrs. Duggar was fully aware, when she married into the Duggar family, that she was expected to be a breeder. With two children already in the short time they've been married, it's obvious this is the way the family does things. They seem like a beautiful family (I came from a large family of 7), although I think it's irresponsible to have as many as they do. The older children will eventually end up raising the youngest children. In one way or another our society DOES help pay for their extraordinarily large broods. If they have health insurance, we all pay with higher premiums for the amount of children they have and the subsequent medical care.

Again, I say, they are a lovely family, being close, charitable and honest. The Duggars DO teach their children good values and continuously teach them, as the Lord did, to "give to the least of us". Something which many "self-proclaimed Christians" preach, but DO NOT PRACTICE.

  • Mildred Baena on Love Child: 'It Wasn't Arnie's Fault, It Takes Two' (PopEater)

Jun 15th 2011 8:22AM Gee, that's a real nice thing to say ... "no body cares about a housekeeper". This cheating thing sickens me, but the elitist attitudes of the rich or other people ... "she's JUST a housekeeper". With most rich folks, anybody beneath them in the way of wealth isn't worth even looking at. They don't even think the wages are justified.

  • Does Arnold Really Think He Can Get Maria Back? (PopEater)

Jun 8th 2011 11:19PM Arnold doesn't want to lose all those millions. He'd probably do anything short of castration to keep her. Just my opinion.

  • My Little One Was So Excited About Being a Big Brother ... But Not Anymore! (ParentDish)

Jun 2nd 2011 8:14PM How sad that parents can't figure out how to "parent" their kids anymore. Years ago, all it took was lots of love and attention for the kids. Mom's took it all in stride. Kids seem to need a little more love, preparation and attention with families being smaller. In larger families a new baby is not a catastrophe for smaller siblings. Perhaps today's kids are too spoiled to begin with, therefore have a harder time accepting a new sibling.

  • Mother of 'Genderless' Baby Storm Speaks Out (ParentDish)

May 31st 2011 11:04AM At age 5 or less, children don't have a sense of "style" or feel peer pressure. It sounds more like these parents are "steering" their boys to be more girlish. I think it's one thing to be accepting of an older child or teenager who clearly has gender issues and/or confusion and then be supportive of their choice. But raising infants and toddlers, especially since we're talking more than one child here .... it appears the parents themselves have issues which they are passing on to their children.

  • 'Genderless' Baby Raises a Storm of Controversy (ParentDish)

May 30th 2011 10:13PM These people have put the spotlight on their child and made it a freak show. What should have been a normal thing, they have turned into something strange.

  • Are Dickeys Making a Comeback? (Stylelist (Main))

May 26th 2011 12:47PM Yeck! They were ugly years ago and they're still uglier if not worse. My mother, rest her soul, used to always comment on the radical, ugly styles years ago and made the statement that she thought clothing designers "hated women". It has often made me wonder. They can put the product out there, but they usually can't make you buy it. The designers push the trends .... it's not that people demand them or necessarily like them, it seems.
