A decade of Niki (The Brian Alvey Weblog)
Feb 5th 2006 12:57PM How about the cats, you didn't mention we have the same two cats :). Maybe me being constantly pregnant for 7 years and you having to change the litter box yourself all that time has something to do with it :). I love you lots Brian. You are a wonderful husband and father. --niki

Dolmades - grape leaves stuffed with rice and pine nuts (Slashfood)
Feb 2nd 2006 8:21PM My Yiayia (grandma) used to crisscross forks in the bottom of the pot to prevent the domathes from sticking. I use one of those collapsible vegetable steamers.

Resolutions (The Brian Alvey Weblog)
Jan 1st 2006 7:32PM "Maybe just seeing my family more. That would be great." Try "at all." Maybe seeing them AT ALL! That would be a nice change :). Good thing I love you a lot and the kids are too young to miss you yet. Although now when Jack doesn't want to do something that I have asked him to do, he says, "not now, I am too busy mama, I am working now."

It makes me want to wag my tail (The Brian Alvey Weblog)
Oct 26th 2005 10:31AM I think you would make a great "Stephanie" from Lazytown. The pink wig would look hot on you! http://shop.nickjr.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2029173&cp=2108138&parentPage=family

Canned pumpkin - is it really pumpkin? (Slashfood)
Oct 24th 2005 1:58PM When my dog got cancer last year, my Vet had me add Libby's pumpkin to her diet. She also suggested I add it to the other dog's diets as well. She said it is an excellent source of fiber, and the dogs do love it. Never thought I would make a comment like this on a food blog :).
