  Mar 21st 2011 11:43PM Interesting. A Pink Floyd reunion could be quite nice indeed. I find the comments interesting though because they come from people on the outside looking in. These guys have done it. And I don't believe they really regret moving on to solo careers, playing with new players, and moving on. And if they do regret it I doubt it is a big deal to them. They did it once. They have nothing to prove. And once they've moved on and actually found a new life the old one isn't nearly as romantic or appealing.

  Real music died a number of years ago. Now its just about being molded. Let the computer software create your sound. And market the product like marketing a new car or drug. Why the surprise? You really think there is real music being made and people know and care about real music these days? Personalities. That's all. Do the personalities sell a product and make $$$. Forget music.

  The word "retard" means slow. It is the most appropriate word to use in many instances.
  Enough of taking every word, every truth and then creating a euphemism for it and bastardizing everything in an attempt to sanitize, purify, and render impotent so that every one talks the same and there is this illusion no one will be offended and the world will live as one.
  Grow up. Want to become truly "enlightened?" Then face facts. Face the truth. Drop the eupehmisms. Speak the truth. And don't think supplanting some euphemism for the best descriptive word will change the world and make it a better place and every one can then live in peace. To be under such illusion is, well, retarded!

  Feb 23rd 2011 10:20AM Exactly! People convince themselves since they consume less calories with diet soda they can "balance things out" and then eat more food. Usually high in fat junk food. I've worked in numerous deli's and food operations. I can tell you people are pigs, people are dumb, and people think they are getting away with something. How can people lie to themselves? Think about that. I can't count the number of people that would come in, obese, fat, and order the largest sandwiches, with everything on them, ask for extra oil on the sandwich, buy multiple bags of junk food - chips, etc., and then say,And I'll take a large DIET Coke, Pepsi, whatever!

  Feb 7th 2011 3:54PM How about we all finally resolve to stop being complete idiots and finally begin saying things as they really are. Aaron Rogers is growing into being Aaron Rogers. No one can ever be like Bart Starr, Steve Young, or anyone else. Bart Starr is Bart Starr. Steve Young is Steve Young. Lot's of kids grew up in Northern California playing football. There was only one Stve Young and one Aaron Rogers. The rest of doing who knows what.
  Enough of this "He's like so-and-so." He like himself. Period. If you can't write without the comparisons than maybe you should stop writing.
