Oct 21st 2010 5:41PM I don't know how it works in your neighborhood, but where I grew up, giving out carrots would be a clear message to the kids of the neighborhood to cover your house with toilet paper and eggs, and leave flaming dog crap on your porch steps. You might as well give out toothbrushes or Bible pamphlets.

Jul 29th 2010 3:48PM I like a lot of the quorn products. They're often bland, but they're often my only vegetarian option, since I'm allergic to soy. And blandness is why condiments were invented. :)

Bobby Flay Joins NBC for Cooking Show (Slashfood)
Mar 16th 2010 1:03PM So that's the most original idea NBC could come up with to fill an hour of primetime? Why would I watch that when I could watch the same show on any other channel, without the complete lack of personality that is Bobby Flay? It's decisions like this (and screwing Conan) that pushed NBC from number 1 to number 4 the minute Jeff Zucker took over.

Feb 27th 2010 12:08PM There's a paranoid part of me that wonders if these "tips" are actually left by angry cheapskate athiests, trying to discredit Christians. As a Christian I can't imagine stiffing a waiter like that. How is that acting like Jesus would act? But then, there are stupid people in all religions...
