  • Kenneth Robinson, $16 Squatter, Kicked Out of Upscale Home (AOL Real Estate)

Feb 7th 2012 2:44PM The guy is a bum. Wall street, the banks, government and courts have allowed this mess to happen. Pure Greed, anyway you look at it.

  • Karen Perry Loses Three Kids, Ex-Husband and Now Home? (AOL Real Estate)

Feb 1st 2012 8:31AM For any cold blooded ignorant replies on here, you are missing the whole point. This mother is and will be grieving for years. She is trying to hold onto the last thing tangible to her that is left. No, she does not logically need this big house. She needs loving counseling to come to grips with this tragedy and do her best to deal with it. If that means realistic financial counseling from an honest person that would not hurt either.

  • Eating historically in New York's Chinatown and Little Italy (Gadling)

Jan 23rd 2012 10:12AM Thank you for bringing me back to the 15 yrs. I spent living at what used to be 5 points. I learned the culture of the Chinese and am familiar with all the places you wrote about. I could see them doing Tai Chi in the park from my apt. window. I have pictures of it. That area of the city is the best kept secret in my mind. There was not much left to Little Italy 10 yrs. ago when I left. Rumor has it, the younger Italian generations did not want to stay in the area and sold out to the Chinese--which is what it is mostly now. Unfortunatly the historical artifacts of the old slums that were found under the building where I lived (around 1965) were stored under the Twin towers and were lost at 911.

  • How Large We Live: Average Home Sizes Across the U.S. (AOL Real Estate)

Jan 1st 2012 9:10PM Living in Manhattan for 15 yrs, for 1K a month all inclusive (I owned my 1,000 sq. ft. coop)were the best years of my life-that was a few yrs. ago. Energy, culture, diversity, class and you could get away if you had to - even if it was sailing on the Hudson River with your friends. It is best known without a doubt as one the best and most famous cities in the world - for many reasons. I am replying to Jeanne - who obviously never left the farm. I have been both places and if I could afford it now I would go back to the city in a NY minute. I sold the farm so to speak and am stuck in FL now. - I left after 911 - I freaked out. I've lost 10 yrs. of my life living here.

  • 'Cloud' Twin Towers: Design Insults 9/11 Victims, Critics Say (AOL Real Estate)

Dec 17th 2011 10:25AM You have the brains and sensitivity of a worm. I guarantee you did not live near the towers, lost a loved one and had to watch those images over and over. I did. This architect is as sick as those who will actually approve and re-build this nitemare. Yes, we must move on, but shoving it in our faces is beyond an insult to survivors and their familys.

  • Obese passenger forces neighbor on US Airways flight to stand for 7 hours (Gadling)

Nov 24th 2011 7:52AM Now, now folks, we cannot discriminate and force an obese person to buy 2 seats when they cannot fit into one. Being politically correct goes above and beyond common sense and the law these days.

  • Cockpit Chronicles: Video—Food in the cockpit. How it's prepared and what is served (Gadling)

Oct 16th 2011 2:26PM There was no audio to the flight attendants video? I don't really care about what the pilots eat. I care about the $600 paying passenger on a 5 hr. flight that gets - 10 salty peanuts and a cup of water. Then have a fast layover and go through hell again.

  • 7 Tips to Keep Doggy Brains Youthful (Pawnation OLD)

Oct 14th 2011 1:44PM In a perfect world a dog would have 2 adult people parents, children to play with in a big back yard fenced in, daily walks, open park play, agilty training and lots of socialization. There would be at least 1 stay at home grown up to cook organic food and refill the dogs bowl with purified water. Oh, and this article suggests adding another pet and expense to the mix. RIGHT!

I am just happy to keep my 8 yr. old toy dog alive in a hi-rise apt, who cannot be walked because of breathing problems, can't go in the sun/terrace too long as he is loosing his white hair and his pink skin is showing. He has Cushings and Thryroid disease, breathing and horrible skin problems. Yes, I have tried everything with Vets and natural products, etc. I have even given up some of my free-lance jobs to look after him.

I say do your best and be happy if the dog does not chew up your furniture, behaves well, gets some exercise, does not bite anyone and is HEALTHY..
