Mar 8th 2012 2:34PM Um, no. This soundtrack sounds like it's going to blow. Positive points for not being filled with some sort of crappy corporate hip-hop garbage, but if I decide to play this game, the soundtrack is going to be turned off if possible.
Mar 7th 2012 11:28AM I'm not very familiar with VEVO, and just checked their site out. Do they have any good music videos? It seems dominated by crappy trendy corporate hip-hop and garbage pop music. Should I even bother if I want to see videos by truly great bands such as Porcupine Tree, Rush, Iron Maiden and Muse, or is it just some sort of wasteland for the trendy throw away trash that is considered popular in mainstream/sheep circles?

I agree. I love Ferrari, but not so much that I want a game based only on their brand of race cars. Not only that, but I don't trust Atari and their Test Drive franchise anymore. They abandoned those of us who bought TDU2 Unlimited.
Jan 30th 2012 7:59PM The majority of the football world is pulling for the Giants this weekend. Hardly anyone can stand the New England Pretty Boys and their big headed fans.
Dec 27th 2011 7:37PM @passthemstickscom: Just because your one of the few that actually enjoyed FF XIII, it doesn't make the opinions of others wrong. FF XIII was indeed a very crappy game for the vast majority of those that played it. It's dust collecting pile of dung and has ruined the FF franchise for me and many others. Even with all it's glitches, Skyrim has made the FF franchise it's bitch. XII was a disaster, so it's no wonder the latest installment is falling short of projected sales.

It has to be with a statement like this. "Square Enix had the right idea for Final Fantasy XIII, selling the game without any towns, interesting dungeons, or fun."
Not only that, but every idea mentioned in the article are things that piss us consumers off. I can't stand knowing that when I can't resist temptation and buy a game new, that I'm not getting the entire game. Even worse, knowing I'm a sucker, because the game will eventually be out fully packaged with the DLC for nearly half the price.

The FFXIII battle system wasn't all that fun. At first it was, but after the hundredth run down the tube to fight some stupid looking floating motorcycle looking thing, it got old really quick. I'm surprised I played the game as long as I did. I guess I was hoping there would be a suddenly dramatic change, but it was just more of the same over and over again.

Yea but at $60 a game, they're going to lose fans along the way if they keep putting junk like XIII out. I'll never buy another FF game again until I'm positive it lives up to it's PS1 and PS2 predecessors.
Nov 21st 2011 6:33PM I would rather read that they learned a lesson from putting out such a disappointing game in FFXIII. It blows my mind that they spent all those years developing that game, and what did we get, a game so linear, that there was no illusion of any sort of freedom what-so-ever. I know FF games are pretty much linear for the most part, but at least the ones in past let you explore around a little. FFXIII was a crappy button masher. It was junk with pretty graphics. My wife and I were beyond let down and neither one of us bothered to finish it. It was just one fight after another. Run down the tunnel and fight. Run down antoher tunnel and fight. Get to big planet that gives the illusion of an open world, and realize the massive suckage. The was money flushed down the drain.
