  • Patricia Heaton Has Lost Potential Roles Because of Her Politics (PopEater)

May 23rd 2011 12:51PM Who wrote this article? Who edited it? So many typos and incorrect word usages makes it nearly impossible to read. For heavens' sakes learne how to write.

  • How Old Is Too Old to Wear a Miniskirt? (Stylelist (Main))

May 13th 2011 3:41PM So, I guess anyone over 61 should swim in the nude?

  • Best Outback Favorites (Slashfood)

Jan 31st 2011 12:40PM They said the vegetable side with their #1 pick had no salt or pepper. As one who has cut down on salt for years, and who is allergic to black pepper, I find that a good thing.

  • Sexy Chefs: 10 Hottest Women in the Food Industry 2011 (Slashfood)

Jan 30th 2011 10:58AM Of course Ina Garten should be on the list. And possibly Paula Deen.

  • Banning Bad Tippers - What Can I Get You Folks? (Slashfood)

Mar 5th 2010 1:32PM Geez, it looks like most people don't know what tips are intended for. They're given for good service, not as a right, something to be expected. I've worked as a waitress, my mother worked as a waitress, and I assure everyone that we worked hard to earn those tips. We did not expect that we would get good tips just for showing up at the table. It's a way to show appreciation to a wait person who does a good job, is efficient and friendly (or at least not surly and sloppy), and should be looked on as a reward. If I get bad service, I either tip very low or not at all.

  • 'Deadliest Catch' Captain Phil Harris Dies (PopEater)

Feb 10th 2010 10:15AM My sympathies to his family and friends. I've enjoyed the show and admire the fortitude of Capt. Harris, his crew, and the crews of the other boats.

  • Stephen King Spills Beans on 'Shining' Sequel (Moviefone Blog)

Nov 28th 2009 10:47AM Very strange. The article was about a "book" sequel. Then everyone started talking about a movie sequel. Even if King writes the book, what makes it a certainty that there would be a movie?

  • 'Law & Order' Fictionalizes the Taconic Parkway Tragedy -- Is It Too Soon? (Inside TV Blog)

Oct 23rd 2009 10:00AM Although many aspects of the L&O story must make it seem to depict only one real tragedy, this sort of thing has happened all over the country and far too often. Let it air -- if it saves one person, then it's timing is good.

  • Arlen Specter, Traitor (Politics Daily)

Apr 28th 2009 2:15PM It's very sad when punsters and other spokesmen personally attack others who disagree with them. This is too often evident in members of the Republican party, just one of the reasons I switched parties several years ago. they put their ideology ahead of their country and that should be very scary for voters.

  • 25 things vanishing in America, part 2: Professional typists (WalletPop)

    Apr 17th 2009 10:17AM Karyn Ann,

Don't despir. At age 60 I went to library school, got my master's in 2 years and now have a wonderful position in a university library. It wasn't easy and I'm still paying off my student loan, but I've never been happier. I know that in the present economy nothing is certain. But for now, I'm working and making an important contribution.
