I have been a fan of the show for years now and always loved the way Captain Phil took on the job of his boat and it's men and also being a dad. If his sons grow to be half the man Phil was they have assomplished a great deal. Rest in peace Phil you will be missed by many more then you could ever know.

I did not see the show but I find the description of what he did to be offensive and I don't know why some people just have to always push their performance way over the line. I pity him and I think he will find out that it was a costly mistake.

  Nov 18th 2009 11:34AM Jason, love the way you put out the TRUTH about the "mess" we are in and who is really to blame. Normally I don't like pointing fingers but there is one person you left out when it comes to Fanny and Freddy. I remember seeing Barney Frank on TV less then a month before it hit the Fanny and Freddy fan telling everyone that everything was alright and that there were no problems. Of course I'll bet he got a nice "bonus" for that public lie! Oh and when it comes to labels and finger pointing how about the fact that almost everytime anyone dissagrees with the Obama way they are called a "raceist". And let's not forget his campaign promise of "transparency" but yet when bills are being ramed down our throats there are tons of "behind closed doors" meetings going on down there in D.C. All I want to get across to the American public is no matter what you expected from this President it isn't going to happen, he has unleashed the "spend like there's no tomorrow" mentally of his buddies in D.C. and WE THE PEOPLE OF AMERICA HAVE THE REAL POWER AND IT'S IN OUR VOTE, SO VOTE OUT THE LIERS, TAX CHEATS, AND PORK SHOVELERS IN 2010 !!

I mean on the lawyer shows and even in live interviews that stinkin phrase keeps coming up, people let's just let it die...please.

News flash for whoever threw Ruby out in her condition, if you have your pet spayed or neutered you won't have to worry about puppies. Some idiots view pets as throw away and that is why we have so many pets wandering around having litter after litter of unwanted puppies or kittens. Owning a pet comes with responsiblities and controlling the reproduction of that pet is just one of them.

  Oct 22nd 2009 4:43PM Let's see where do I start, first of all the bonuses are part of the contracts that were signed, so if Obama takes it on himself to pull this punishment tax or whatever he wants to call it, I want to know who put the crown on his head. Sure I agree that companies who have lost money to the point that they need taxpayers to bail them out should not pay bonuses but that is something that their legal department should have thought about before the contracts were signed. Nobody agrees with paying bonuses to a person who's company was failing is the right thing to do but I am just as concerned that the President seems to think that he was elected to be King of the U.S.A. !!! I picture Obama as a puppet with Queen Nancy and the rest of his puppetters working the strings and I have only one way to get this train back on track....everyone has to get to the voting booths next year and vote out of office all the liers, tax cheaters, and pork shovelers who are printing more money then ever before and this will keep out grandchildren in debt. Stop and think about it, if you are in debt how do you get out???? you save by everyway possible and then gradually start paying down the debt !!! You cannot buy your way or spend you way out of debt, it's like using one credit card to pay on another credit card it doesn't work !!! WE THE PEOPLE OF AMERICA HAVE THE REAL POWER THANKS TO OUR FORFATHERS, WE HAVE TO VOTE THEM OUT OF OFFICE IN 2010 !! WE HAVE TO TAKE BACK THE CONTROL OF THIS COUNTRY AND DON'T LET THEM TURN THIS GREAT NATION INTO A SOCIALIST NATION RULED BY PEOPLE WHO WANT TO BE IN EVERY BIT OF OUR LIVES, WE ARE FREE AND WE HAVE TO VOTE THEM OUT IF WE WANT TO STAY FREE !!

  Oct 8th 2009 9:34PM If you're going to spend that amount of money on a pet then go to a shelter and pick up a cute kitten or puppy and give them the rest of the money for food and litter. And don't forget to have that kitten or puppy spayed or neutered!
