  Apr 13th 2010 7:44PM For those who believe that spanking is wrong... you are more than right with your opinion. WE who think that spanking is the way to go are right in our opinion also. Take a good look at the violence our children are expressing now!!! That did not happen with our generation. Of course there were bad apples but as a whole we didn't settle things with a gun or knife or any kind of a weapon like that. You got your ass whipped if you did wrong. I think our generation is doing pretty good for a people who were abused by our parents. Oh... you say you were not abused... then why is spanking a child abuse now ?!?! It wasn't then. I myself grew up with the thinking that I didn't have to get spanked for the same thing twice. I came out pretty damn successful with children that know right from wrong and are being successful too. Don't ever lose sight that this generation is the one that we will have to depend on when we grow old......
