Since racism and sexism are no longer acceptable, pointing and laughing at the obese and rural is the only outlet for people who only feel good about themselves by favorably comparing themselves to others.

  Oct 2nd 2009 11:08PM If you don't want people twittering about you because you are a bad tipper - leave a tip. People who treat service workers poorly deserve the scorn the get because of it. When I go out and someone I'm with acts like a jerk, I don't go out with them again.

• What's the deal with homemade veggie burgers with mushy middles? (Slashfood)

  Jul 3rd 2008 7:24PM I got a veggie burger at Wynkoops in Denver that was like that. It had just enough firmness to barely stay together but on the inside it had the consistency of stale oatmeal. Not a winner. The ones at Red Robin are usually good though. At home I like Boca brand stuff.
  
  I'd be happy to grab something other than a veggie burger, but at a lot of places, that's the only option for vegetarians. Part of the reason I don't eat out that much.
