Mourvedre in the tank

Mourvedre grapes are dumped into a waiting tank at Four Vines Winery in Paso Robles, CA. Winemaker Christian Tietje likes to add whole bunches in the bottom to give the finished wine, rich in California fruit, some tannic structure from the stems and seeds.
