Dear Slashfood Readers: Our New Home
by Slashfood Editor, Posted May 16th 2011 @ 4:21PM
You may have noticed things are a little quieter over here lately. What's happening?
Slashfood has a new home: HuffPost Food. When AOL acquired the Huffington Post, it was clear that certain sites overlapped. Instead of running two separate sites covering the same food news and stories, we decided to join forces at HuffPost Food. You'll find all the same food news, trends, stories, and reviews you're used to from Slashfood -- all in one place.
Come on over to HuffPost Food, and tell us what you like and what you don't. What you'd like to see more of, and what you could do without. And continue to follow us, and reach out, on Facebook and Twitter, where we'll continue to post our latest stories and much more.
See you at HuffPost Food!

5-18-2011 @3:06AM Palmer said... The layout of the HuffPo blog is very off putting, it's just too damn busy. The Slashfood site was cleaner, simpler and easy on the eyes. While the content will be the same as it was on this site, I'm not sure if I can tolerate the new site's design.

5-18-2011 @3:37PM Lindsay said... huff post is terribly laid out. i will miss your simplicity and ease of use. ARGH!
5-24-2011 @6:04AM James said... Agreed! HuffPost food section's layout is total crap. If I want multiple column layout, I would read the paper.
Definitely time to find another food website.

5-19-2011 @10:36PM Will Sterling said... This is truly bad news. Slashfood was a quality blog about making and eating food with some stories about food personalities thrown in. HuffPost Food apears to be 98% link bait and sensational non-stories that are associated to food but more about the drama.
