Taco Bell Demands an Apology After Beef Lawsuit Dropped

Love may mean never having to say you're sorry, as the old Love Story theme goes, but lawsuits are another thing. Taco Bell would like an apology from the folks who brought (and then withdrew) the lawsuit against them that claimed their meat mixture was less than 35 percent beef. "Would It Kill You to Say You're Sorry?" asks the ad Taco Bell has launched today in newspapers across the country. Damage control is expensive, and the fast-food giant has spent millions in an ad campaign bolstering up its image as a result of the lawsuit.

They've even produced a video of Taco Bell CEO Greg Creed explaining that "Lawyers Got it Wrong!"

We'll see if an apology makes tomorrow's news, but we're not holding our breath.

The company that owns Taco Bell (YUM Brands) is actually doing incredible inspite of those who want to say stupid and idiotic things about the company! Don't like them? Then just shut up and go eat somewhere else!

Now all meat products are boiled in bags. TB needs to bring that style grilled back. Chili cheese burritos used to be called just chilito's.To make chilito mix, you need 16 ounces of gb, and chilito powder, and water. The refried beans are from a bag and then mixed with water, sit, stir, and serve, now that's fast food.I think TB needs to serve actual chili something better than Wendy's, chili is mexican.

Your stomach issues came from you, unless it made the news that 100's got sick at that restaurant, did it? I've often wondered how many people/kids have handled that menu I'm holding in a restaurant, just food for thought.
A test for everyone: Next time you go out to eat, does everyone with you wash their hands? At your next family dinner (Easter is coming), how many wash their hands before eating?

As far as I'm concerned they satisfy those requests...sure they can be UNHEALTHY, but thats a matter of self control. Eating Chocolate ALL the time would be harmful too, so yeah that's not their fault.

And, I'll point out, the people talking the most smack are now on their way to McDonalds, with a stop on the way home at the Dairy Queen. Bear witness, you don't know how bad or good a place is unless you eat there a fair amount. That's pretty sad, actually, talking a bunch of crap about a place, and then going back. These simple asses are too stupid to go to the market.

Even processed supermarket food is scary. When I make homemade ice cream, it has 2 ingredients --fresh cream and whatever fruits or nuts I choose for the flavor. What do you get with supermarket ice cream?----modified food starch, maltodextrin, artificial flavoring, caramel coloring, corn syrup --or worse yet--high fructose corn syrup, and my favorite---- polysorbate 80 LOLOL (still have no clue what the hell that is) and that's only the tip of the iceberg as far the other additives.
