In the YumSugar interview, Stone admits that his detractors almost have a point. "If you're going to say you're a chef, you need to cook somewhere, which is why I'm opening a restaurant. I miss cooking in a restaurant, and that camaraderie, and that art of perfection that I was talking about."
Stone hopes his Los Angeles restaurant will be "a nice little place, where you can still cook for people the way you want to...I want it to be relaxed and special; I think 40 or 50 seats would see me out." Don't worry ladies, the man still has a few tricks up his sleeve (note: he is involved with the actress Lindsay Price). When asked what he wants to be remembered for, the cheeky Stone answered, "A few things spring to mind that I shouldn't say out loud."

You know, when you're walking along the beautiful beach, sand running through your toes, sun overhead, soft breeze from the waves, and all of a sudden your head is surrounded by Gnats! You try to swish them away, you try turning in circles, until finally you duck and run like hell hoping to confuse them and escape. You usually succeed after one heartfelt try.
That's how people are. They are liliputians (read Gulliver's Travels) who are desperate to demote anybody they think is better than they are, which is everybody. ;)
Keep up the good work, stay sweet, and looks or no looks, like will take you where you want to go.

Are you really going to put yourself through all the angst of opening a restaurant? Seriously, I wish I lived closer because I'd be one of your first customers!

like a chef !!! Most dress in the most un-cooking clothes or look as if they're going out to plow the back 40 ! The women's make up looks like an after 5 show.... Of all the cooking shows, I know of only two or three that are dressed approprately...just an apron does the job.

Love watching him cook (to bad to his detractors, but he just happens to be a wonderful chef, he can't help it that he's soooo cute!) Have learned a lot from watching him prepare dishes that are simple and wonderful. I don't get chef's who think if they use 38 hard to find ingredients, that it makes a better dish than 5 to 10 can find most places ingredients. Not to mention that you can learn a lot of great cooking tricks and methods watching him on aol cooking videos. Curtis you stay the way you are, GREAT COOK, happy, and looks like in love Aussie. (Think Curtis and Lindsay Price make a great couple!)
