7-Eleven Slurpee Built for Two

7-Eleven SlurpeePhoto: 7-Eleven

7-Eleven has a new Slurpee scheme that will let you mix and match your flavors. On June 11, the company's launching a dual-chambered cup and special straw that allows you to sip one flavor at a time, or both at once. Just in case you really need to know how Peach Dragon Fruit tastes with a Mountain Dew White Out. We can only imagine the orders at 3 a.m.

And when is a Slurpee like the hammer of a Norse god? The Blue Lightening Blast Slurpee, says 7-Eleven, is "inspired by Thor," the upcoming movie, that is. You're prompted to "drop the hammer on your tongue... for a thunderous taste." We're still waiting for the Kryptonite Krush Slurpee.

Find out about more great shakes and frozen drinks coming this spring and summer.

I know here in Southern California I had noticed those cups last summer and again when I was in high school ten years ago. Those things are just liquid sugar in a cup and I cannot believe people drink them!

Its a fad that is going to come back to bite them in the butt once the large corporations have made their billions marketing them, the stats will be out stating how destructive they can actually be to your health.

Perhaps you might want to drop the word "liberal" from your post.

I think this detracts from your message, labels you as a potential "conservative," and allows people to be dismissive of anything you may say.

There has been a concerted effort in our nation, in recent years, to type and label people. Once a person has been tagged or typed they then fall into a "catagory." People with different beliefs then ignore and in the extreme "hate" against them.

This is the same old "stereotying," that has always gone on. Oh well he is a "hippie," a "yuppie," a this or that. It forces close mindedness, and breeds greater ignorance.
