I use my other Everyday Food cookbook at least three times a week, especially when we've got produce that I'm lacking inspiration for. My family LOVES the recipes, the leftovers are always good, and I feel good about the quality of ingredients and flavors used in the recipes. And did I mention I get my picky family to try new things with Everyday Food? What would I do without it?

I also have a teen-age son who is an avid weight-lifter, runner and bicyclist who craves healthy, protein-rich foods and is a budding epicure. (Now if only we can finish our kitchen remodel!)

I am starting a nutrition news/food blog this year and love learning the powers of food while enjoying their flavors. As much as I love the healthy side, I'm also a closet baker and LOVE trying new cupcakes, cookies, and desserts....of course to share with my friends and coworkers. They would be so grateful that i won these books :0) I've used Martha's pate brisee every holiday season for my pies and always get compliments. Love me some Martha!!! Positive vibes....
