For many a college student, pizza for breakfast isn't exactly a new thing: grab a cold slice of last night's leftover pepperoni from the pizza box that's still on the coffee table and you've got breakfast on the run.
But the new Domino's in Dayton, Ohio, is going where no other Domino's has gone before -- it's introduced a breakfast pizza that actually looks like breakfast.
According to Nation's Restaurant News, the Dayton Domino's takes an ordinary pizza crust and tops it with eggs and cheese. The morning pie costs $7.99, which includes three toppings. The store suggests such crossover combinations as ham and bacon; sausage, onions and jalapeños; or onion, green pepper and mushroom.
Perhaps in recognition that students from the nearby University of Dayton, like most college kids, don't exactly eat breakfast when the rest of us do, the franchise is making the breakfast pizza available both day and night.
Which brings us to this fun trivia fact that you might want to toss out at the dinner table tonight: this Domino's in Dayton is the only 24-hour Domino's in the country.

Gross. I've only known 2 people who actually ate unrefrigerated leftover pizza. Both ended up majorly ill

From there, you could probably come up with all sorts of ideas about how to explore both "breakfast pizza" and other forms of quiche.

One very late night/early morning we went into his store and he made a breakfast pizza - basically substituting the egg for the sauce and whatever topping we wanted. It was Awesome!! I have been telling this story for 25 years and this is the first time I've heard of Dominos actually making a breakfast pizza. They should have done it years ago. On another note, the "new" pizza S*CKS!!! I don't know who's opinion they got about the product but it's obvious it wasn't from customers who have been enjoying their pizza for over 30 years! I tried the new pizza once and will NEVER order it again!
