The NFL kicks off its regular season in just a couple weeks, and for millions of fantasy football fans again this year, what happens online will be just as important as what happens on the gridiron. A number of restaurant chains are getting in on the act, with deals and prizes aimed at transforming football fantasy into reality.
Here is a round-up of some, as reported by Nation's Restaurant News:
Papa John's:
Winners of Papa John's "Ultimate 'Fantasy to Reality' Experience" will score a trip to the 2011 NFL Draft in New York, while another group of winners will receive free pizzas on Sept. 9 (NFL kick-off day) delivered by Minnesota Vikings all-pro receiver Chris Carter. To enter, log on to Papa John's Facebook page and explain why your fantasy football league is better than all the rest.

Hooters:
You can land a trip to next year's Super Bowl in Dallas as part of Hooters' Big Game Giveaway. The chain is also giving away free draft kits to groups of fantasy players coming in to pick rosters, which include a draft board, fantasy cheat sheet, and coupons worth more than $500.
Dave & Busters:
Host your draft party here, and your group will get half off the cost of creating a fantasy league through CBSSports.com. Get 10 percent off food all night, and if you're the organizer, you get a $20 Power Card. Just book through Dave & Buster's special-events department to get the deal.
Buffalo Wild Wings:
For the second year, the chain is organizing its own fantasy football league. It's also offering a new contest, the Pick 'Em Challenge. Each week, customers can try to pick the winners of all NFL games. If you're the person with the most picks at your local Buffalo Wild Wings location, you're entered to win a trip to Pasadena, CA, where you'll play in a flag football game at the Rose Bowl with teams led by former pros Jerry Rice and Deion Sanders. The chain is also promoting fantasy football draft night with $100 in gift cards handed out to each group and a free draft kit.
Chains such as Ruby Tuesday and T.G.I. Friday's are offering a variety of fantasy football-themed specials as well. So huddle up, order a round of buffalo wings and enjoy the game.
