The queen of refined living is taking a few of her most recognizable brands and extending them into the U.K. and the Middle East this fall. As reported by the Independent, Stewart has a television show and four magazines in the works for the United Kingdom, including her flagship publication Martha Stewart Living.
Also scheduled for sometime later this year, is the launch of Everyday Food and Martha Stewart Weddings in Dubai, with distribution slated for several other Middle Eastern countries. "By October, we will have a total of eight international editions of our magazines in circulation in more than a dozen countries," said Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia's chairman Charles Koppelman in a conference call (via Seeking Alpha). "These developments are not in an [and] of themselves game changing, but they signal our commitment to the international market place and the opportunity we see here for our company. As we often say, media lease and merchandising follows."
Koppelman was speaking on behalf of Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia's earnings results, where the growth of the company in all its media and merchandising endeavors was reported at $55.3 for the second quarter.
That said, Stewart has some new endeavors in store for her faithful U.S. audiences this fall as well. She'll be hosting two-hour prime-time specials on the Hallmark Channel, centered around Halloween and Christmas, as well as two prime-time interview shows, where she talks with those in the entertainment, fashion and political worlds. The first of those specials is expected to air on September 19, with Martha talking fashion with high-profile women.

The end that goes on the faucet broke off in 5 minutes. I took it back and it happened again! The sad thing is that there are too many people who think her stuff is top quality. What's even sadder is - those people vote.

They signal nostalgia to our country, and simply do not to these other locations. Perhaps, her cooking might be a hit, but alas they cook differently as well. Martha Stewart is as American as Apple Pie and her company in my opinion is taking a big retail risk in this venture. Good Luck to them though, they need it!

Hah! Any decent journalist would know the word used should be "editions" NOT "additions".

Do most of us a favor take your millions and go away...your crafts are garbage as well as the other things you sell. Just because it has your name on it doesn't make it
wonderful..I get better buys for the same things elsewhere. And I agree with the other comments here, instead of taking your garbage to Dubai, go to Dubai yourself and set up shop.

She was prosecuted for things that these politicians get away with every day. She even did the time gracefully. I'd like to see some of you hold up to that. And BTW all the money she makes overseas comes back to this country. I think she should get an award for that. You know when you're picking someone else apart you don't have to look at yourselves, do you?

I only used wooded spoons to stir with, nothing sharp. The non stick surface starting peeling off into my food immediately. I took them back, they made a funny comment to me about her products, which I will not say. I will not buy her over-priced products again.
