Three Guacamole Variations - Tip of the Day

It's peak avocado season, but even the most die-hard guac lover can get a little weary of the usual recipe. Here, are three ways to kick it up a notch.

1) Margarita: Stir in some lime juice, tequila and a drop of orange zest to approximate the flavors of the classic summer cocktail.

2) Tex-Mex: Add sour cream, black beans, chopped tomatoes, oven-roasted corn and cilantro for a South of the Border flavor.

3) Three-Onion: Add minced scallion, Vidalia and red onion, plus lemon juice and chopped parsley for a surprisingly mild, yet decisively onion-focused bowl of dip.
