Before you start wondering what the origins of the meat on your plate are, don't panic: Synthetic meat is still too costly to actually sell.
According to a post on the blog, The Stir, some environmentalists are pro synthetic meat because it creates less greenhouse gas, while critics bemoan the fact that man-made meat will take us further from farm.
If we told you it tasted just as good as conventional meat, would you want to try it?

You can't tell me it'd be any worse than Taco Bell's 'ground beef' or today's hormone and antibiotic marinated meat. You'd have to be rabidly ideological not to, which is why they hate the idea so much.
