Bros Icing Bros

Just when you thought drinking couldn't get any more ridiculous than pouring vodka in your eye, a drinking game involving the alcopop Smirnoff Ice comes along, complete with a website called Bros Icing Bros. The website suggests to "buy the most disgusting flavored Ice or a 24-oz Ice. Pineapple, mango, and grape are top of the list for the most gut wrenching, mind numbing, throw-up-in-your-mouth Smirnoff Ice flavors."

Read the rules as posted on the viral website (with grammar errors) after the jump.

"You cannot refuse an Ice. If you refuse to drink the Ice you are instantly excommunicated and shunned, and thus can never Ice another bro or be Iced. If you are Iced by a fellow bro you can Ice block. When presented w/ an Ice, you pull out an Ice of your own and reserve the Ice on your bro. The ultimate Ice insult."

Smirnoff Ice is considered a "bitch drink," according to the Bros website, so women are not allowed to play the game. As if this isn't degrading enough, Hoes Weising Hoes is an attempt to include women in this buffoonery by binge drinking Budweiser. Perhaps women don't feel the same need to torture one another with drinking games; however, the fear of being "excommunicated and shunned" seems to play a psychological role in anyone falling into this kind of nonsense.

You'd think that Smirnoff started this as some kind of marketing madness, but the man behind the Icing website says the site is paid for by Google ads. However, the 22-year-old college graduate responsible requests to remain anonymous.

Smirnoff's parent company, Diageo -- the largest drinks company in the world -- says they are not behind the Icing game, claiming, "The Icing phenomenon is consumer generated. Some people think it's fun. Diageo never wants underage Icing."
