Try making a hot, spiked cider for your next gathering by adding Calvados (apple brandy) or regular brandy, a bit of light brown sugar, a few cinnamon sticks and some cloves. Warm gently on the stove in a heavy saucepan, then serve in mugs with a cinnamon stick garnish. Spiked cider keeps in an airtight container for up to a week in the refrigerator.
