Seattle-Tacoma International, Reagan National, Dallas-Fort Worth International and JFK Airports are just several airports mentioned in the study that are coming under scrutiny for violations such as cross-contamination and vermin.
Grab-and-go items pose a constant threat. "Grab-and-go coolers often don't keep sandwiches and salads cold enough to stop dangerous pathogens," USA Today reports.

12-25-2009 @5:55PM Kevin Kadow said... And here we were all complaining about how bad the airplane food was so awful, at least until they took it away, when all along we should have been worrying about the airport food court instead!
Almost makes me glad my employer won't let me expense meals purchased at the airport!
