Couple Replaces Wedding Cake with Giant Tuna Fish

A company in Japan is taking the traditional wedding cake in a very different direction, replacing it with a giant tuna.

In a video on YouTube a Japanese couple cuts a 100 kilogram -- or about 220 pound -- BigEye tuna with a very large knife at their wedding reception, JapanProbe.com reports.

The company has been offering the tuna-cutting wedding ceremonies for about 10 years, Japan Probe reports. A minimum plan costs about 300 yen per person based on 50 guests, which works out to about 150,000 yen or $1,600.

Would you trade your wedding cake for raw tuna? Let us know in the comments below!

It was quite similar, as we were standing there, cutting up a cow! The Japanese are big on fish, you know with Sushi and fish in general. Us Americans are the "meat and potatoes" of the planet and it will always be that way!! lol
