Would You Pay $72 for a Taco Bell Taco?

Would you shell out $72 for a 79-cent Taco Bell taco? Apparently one man did this week.

The 20-something man offered to pay $72 for a taco at a Perkins Township, Ohio, Taco Bell late Monday night, the Sandusky Register reports.

"He said 'Merry Christmas, all I want is a taco,'" Aaron Ohm, the manager of the restaurant, told the paper. The unidentified customer was drunk, according to Ohm, and slapped $72 on the counter.

The customer refused to take his change, so Ohm called police. They're holding the money for six weeks to see if someone claims it, the paper said. If not, it goes to Ohm.

I buy the same thing everytime that I eat at any of their restaurants along the western states and I never det the correct payment, sometimes its 10.00 over w/ it being usually at least a 2.00 overcharge most of the time. many times the person speaks very poor english , doesn't know how to place the order and being a new person , screws up. its the companys fault, hire right, train right. I have been a co. trainer as well as a manager for many years and you are only as good as your FRONT people. They get an F grade for preparing their staff to meet the public. They are always nice and energenic but not ready to take orders. I find at times that I bypass their stors just so as not to have the hassle.

Tell me one place where you can understand what people are saying.English has become the second language in the US.I would like to know of ONE country that would change their language just because I decided to live there. Our so called Government does more for Foreigners than it does for its own citizens.By the way,The last time I had a taco,it was 95% wrapping and 5% meat and other stuff.

Taco Bell needs new management

12-19-2009 @3:59PM Taco Bell needs new management said... I wouldnt buy a 1 penny taco from there. In fact, after my minor son worked there and had inappropriate relations with 4 of the other employees in every area of that place possible, I wouldn't eat anything from there at all. The sad part, management was involved! And apparently, it happens quite often. ughhh!
